Rob Satterberg - New Staff Administrator*

Rob is an ordained Evangelical Covenant pastor who served churches in Colorado, Pennsylvania and California before coming to Connecticut. Rob was Director of Pastoral Ministries at The Children's Home of Cromwell prior to coming to Rivendell to be our administrator. There he worked closely with the Development department and supervised the chaplain, while strengthening contacts with Covenant churches. A graduate of California State University, Fresno (B.A. 1977) in Psychology, Rob was active with Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship and attended Urbana '76 and '79. He pursued his graduate training at North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago. He received a Master of Divinity from North Park in 1983 and was ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church in 1985. Rob's interests include golf, fishing, classical music and old houses. Rob's wife, Ruth, is an Occupational Therapist at The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT. She did her training at Tufts University, Boston School of Occupational Therapy. Married since 1988, Rob and Ruth have two boys who are in high school.
