Lydia Dugdale, MD, MAR, is the co-director of the Yale Program for Medicine, Spirituality and Religion, and the Associate Director of Yale’s Program for Biomedical Ethics. She is the author of “Dying in the 21st Century: Toward a New Ethical Framework for the Art of Dying Well.” She is a practicing physician, and mother of two. Her husband, Kyle Dugdale, is a critic at Yale’s School of Architecture.
