“More than Performance”
facilitated by Beth Negash
A performance driven mindset dominates our culture and this thinking can have a destructive effect on the way we think about our relationship with God. A performance driven spirituality is not new to the modern world, but was something the Apostle Paul dealt with as well.
This semester we continue our Spiritual Formation studies using Lectio Divina in the book of Philippians. This method of Bible Study invites readers to slow down, read Scripture, meditate upon it, and prayerfully respond to God’s Word, allowing our hearts to form towards God’s truths.
